After obtaining his degree in business administration, Dietrich Westphal worked for the German equivalent of the IRS. Before taking over the firm in 1972, he worked for a number of multinational companies both in Germany and South Africa.

Dietrich Westphal's expertise is on tax structuring, estate planning and healthcare / non-profit audits. He sits on the board of numerous non-profit organization and is the executor of a number of crossnational estates.
